Yael Stone
Stone was born and raised to Sydney, Australia. She was a student at in the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts, and at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone was first introduced to acting when was a young child. She acted in roles such as Me Myself and The Farm. In 2008, during the Sydney Theatre Awards she was given the award for Best Newcomer aswell in the category of Best Supporting Artist, for her role as a child actor in The Kid. In addition to her work in theatre, she has been on TV for supporting roles like All Saints or Spirited. In 2010, she was a lead actor on the screen in The Diary of a Madman. This role earned her a second nomination to the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting Actress. In February of 2011, she travelled to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman and then returned to the lead roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, as well as As You Like It in Sydney.
